31 Mar toronto fashion week | day two fall/winter 2015
On Day TWO of Toronto Fashion Week, I admittedly was excited to see David Dixon, who hadn’t shown last season. This was his 20th anniversary, a great feat that is coveted by many Canadian designers. His collection was true to its ultra femme aesthetic; knee length pencil skirts, shoulder baring cut-outs, cinched waists and luxe fur. Mélissa Nepton stood out with bulky silhouettes, wide-legged hems and pastels. Narces finaled with a white lace jumpsuit; a great end to a sheer-heavy collection while Vawk’s black and white pieces were my favorites from designer Sunny Fong.
