11 Sep style twins // denim overload + the necessity of music when we shoot
ey guys! I know it’s been a couple of weeks without style twins, which I imagine was simply torturous! But I’ve also heard that absence makes the heart grow fonder, so maybe it was a calculated risk to make y’all miss us while we put together another awesome shoot so when we came back, all those emotions would just come rushing back; an exciting mixture of OMG I missed them and yes the wait was so worth it and and and please don’t make us wait this long again!! **exhales**
I must say, it sounds all sensational in my mind, but 5 bucks says Mo rolled her eyes reading this and mumbled to herself; “he’s so weird”. BUT who cares!? Fashion, writing, art; is about being weird and bold! For it is us weirdos who make this world a little more colorful and fun © ;)
… Onto the shoot!!!!
This week Mo and I decided to go denim on denim. We all know how IN denim has been lately but it still takes a little effort to make your demin outfit move from simply being cool and hip, to being catchy and outstanding! Take a look at what we did to spice up this look!
PS We realized something very important during this shoot; every Photoshoot needs MUSIC!!! Patrick brought his speakers to this shoot so we put on our favorite jams which brought a fluidity to the poses, more life and even managed to put an end to my now infamous resting b#&ch face! I know! Incredible! So I advise any aspiring fashion bloggers out there like myself to put on a few jams while you work it. Makes a HUGE difference.
till next time,
Brother Lion Hunter
