19 Jan personal life: a gatsby-themed party

This weekend I went to a Gatsby-themed house party. When it comes to themed parties, there’s always a little uncertainty as you hope that everyone will accept the challenge and show up dressed to match your vision. Thankfully everyone played the part and it truly added to the vibe in the air!
A Gatsby-themed party needs a lot of sparkle, fringes, bow ties, pocket squares and ultra feminine headbands, suspenders, fur stoles, feathers, pearls and anything that screams opulence! I found pieces from my closet that were Gatsby appropriate. I tied a feathery fabric to make a skirt, a bejeweled sweater, fur collar and a necklace on my head!
I really had an AMAZING time dancing the night away with old and new friends! Here are my favorite shots that I took.
