This weekend I had the pleasure of taking in a fashion show showcasing the work of students in NSCAD’s (Nova Scotia College of Art & Design) fashion program. I love being able to sit and watch their work because I’m ALL for growing our fashion industry in Halifax and believe that these students will one day play a major role with the talent that they are developing. The show was impressive as always and I got to see some industry friends that I hadn’t seen in a while. Bravo to Lee Dekel, Kate Rothschild, Anthony El-Cid, Stephanie Macdonald, Lizane Tan, Alyson Samway and Maggie MacCormick for blowing my mind away and standing out as my favourites!
There are definitely some pieces I might hound these designers to make for me!
