The Downtown Halifax Business Commission chose me to participate in their Big Day Downtown Campaign again this year.
Each blogger was given a $100 VISA card and paired up with another blogger so we show each other the places we love in Halifax.
I was paired with Krista from Bite Sized Travel and we met last week to go on our adventure.
I took her to Biscuit General Store which is one of my all time favorite stores in Halifax.
I bought a pair of glasses and earrings using my visa card. Krista took me to Inkwell, a heavenly place of handmade stationery and a letterpress studio and Art Gallery of Nova Scotia to check out some really cool pieces of art and jewelry.
Sadly, I had to dash to an event, but the next day I went to sushi with a friend to finish the rest of my money at Momoya on Barrington Street.
I always have an amazing time doing this campaign as I learn more of the amazing businesses we have in our city!
