Sometimes you find the right outfit when you least expect it. I’ve had this in my possession for over 13 years after I begged my mom for it out of her closet and I never wore it. I think I was enamored by the gold detailing but my style/self esteem hadn’t reached the point that it needed to be to wear this confidently. The day before I was set to fly to Toronto for a night before heading to the Dominican Republic, I realized I’d be able to catch the last night of Toronto Women’s Fashion Week. So rediscovering this badassness as I was packing was meant to be! I feel like royalty when I’m in this and there is absolutely NOTHING that anyone can say to make me feel otherwise. Also, it’s pretty cool that I have something passed down from mama lion hunter that I’ll keep forever!
