I’ve never understood my mom’s obsession with the color navy, until now. As I was deciding which fabrics I’d use for the next batch of skirts, I found myself gravitating towards prints that had navy in them. I’ve become a tad obsessed with the color to be honest, and this new found love led to a little lookbook as an ode to the queen, my mama bear. I found 9 AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL women from different backgrounds and with a spectrum of body types, made a skirt for each and managed to get the crew together one Sunday afternoon to shoot this visual. I really hope you feel empowered by this and would love to hear your thoughts in the comments section below. My goal is to perfect my sewing craft and make sure that my projects always cater to ALL bodies!
